We recommend usage of every other day, up to 3 times per week for the first two months, for up to 30 minute sessions at a time. After the first two months, it is okay to dial down the sessions to twice per week thereafter. You'll nitice that the colors of the foot bath aren't as pronounced over time, which is an indication that the detoxification is running its course. We also recommend replacing the array once per month if usage is at least 2 times per week. If using once per week, once every two months is sufficient. 

There are certain people who should not use the SpaDtox™.

Unless you are under a physician’s guidance, the following contraindications should be followed:

• Wearers of a pacemaker, or any other battery operated or electrical implant.
• Pregnant or nursing women.
• Those on heartbeat regulating medication and/or blood thinners.
• Organ transplant recipients.
• Those on medication, the absence of which would cause mental or physical impairment, such as psychotic episodes, seizures, etc.

People who do not understand the ionic detox technology often surmise that it is not credible because the water changes color without feet in it. There are videos and articles that denounce the technology for this sole reason. With so many brands spreading misinformation about color change, we think it's about time to set the record straight.

The main goal of the SpaDtox™️ is not to change colors in the water, but to stimulate & enbolden the body's natural detoxification system, thereby strengthening the immune system, assisting with internal body cleanse, and contributing to improving overall health. When there is no feet in the water, the ions neutralize what is in the foot bath. 

First is the water itself: average city water has between 300-500 chemicals in it, for example. Second is the salt, which also has a charge. Third, is the array plate, which is made from stainless steel and copper. All of these elements will contribute to color change. We estimate that the "junk in the tub" contributes to roughly 30% of the overall color change when feet are in the water. It accounts for 100% of the color change when feet are not present.

Most people feel lighter on their feet, more energy, clearer thinking, and reduced stress. If you feel good before a detox foot bath session, you’ll feel good afterward. People who feel the worst going into a session tend to notice the biggest changes. If there is a specific issue you are looking to address, most of the time you will notice changes within one-two months of consistent use.

Under the age of 65, every other day is recommended, not to exceed 3 times per week. If over 65, our recommendation is no more than twice a week. Each session may take between 15 to 30 minutes.
